The Rock Tour picks up from the Outback Pioneer (Ayers Rock Resort) at 12.00pm or Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport at around 12.40pm daily (times may vary according to day light saving time).

From – October 1st 2017 – March 31st 2018 – 12.40pm – pick up from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport

From – April 1st 2018 – Sept 30th 2018 – 1.40pm – pick up from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport

From – October 1st 2018 – March 31st 2019 – 12.40pm – pick up from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport

We finish the tour in Alice Springs on day 3 at 5pm and the guide will invite the group out for drinks and dinner to The Rock Bar!

We run daily except for a few days over Christmas and New Year (No Tours available on 23/12, 24/12, 25/12, 26/12, 30/12, 31/12, 01/01)


Day 1 :  Uluru Base Walk & Sunset
You will be picked at the front of Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or the Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara from 12:00pm. First destination Uluru. Take in the breath taking sight of Uluru the World’s Largest Rock. You then have time to complete an Uluru Base Walk around Uluru. You will see beautiful sites such as the Mala Walk, Mutijulu Waterhole and Aboriginal Cave Paintings. We spend this night at the Ayers Rock Campground with toilets and showers after having dinner watching the sunset over Uluru.

Day 2 : Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sunrise
Feel the spiritual significance on a guided walk through to the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. Be shown bush tucker along the hike before heading to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can listen to tales from the ‘Tjukurpa’ Dreamtime. We spend this night at the historic Kings Creek Station with toilets and showers, 20km from Kings Canyon.

Day 3 : Kings Canyon and return to Alice Springs at 5.30pm
Kings Canyon. Enjoy a 3 hour guided hike through the sandstone domes of the Lost City. Visit the many Amphitheatres, North & South Wallsand the beautiful Garden of Eden. We stop on the way home for an optional Camel Ride at the Camel Farm and head back to Alice Springs and civilization. Get cleaned up and we meet later with your Guide for dinner and a couple of beers at The Rock Bar.

$25.00 Uluru Park Entry Fee to be paid locally.

You can also hire a sleeping bag for the 3 day tour. In the winter we offer warm -10 Degrees Sleeping Bags and also light sleeping bags for the summer months for $20.

From the 1st April 2017 sleeping bag hire will increase to $20 and can be paid locally.
